October Bonus: Semaglutide Discourse And The Making of Our Ozempic Episode
Phew! We had a wild month putting our Ozempic episode together and we wanted to process how and why it was so difficult with each other and our closest internet-friends. We also wanted to have a looser, less formal recording session to rant about some of the worst Discourse we've seen. Join us in a big group EXASPERATED SIGH.
We're also sharing a moment of transparency and vulnerability about making this show. We love doing this and it's been tough to put out episodes at the quality we want to lately, so we're taking a minute to think through our release schedule for the next few months. To be clear, the show isn't going anywhere — we're just figuring out a pace that allows us to keep making it for a long time at the level of rigor and quality that you expect from us. Whatever happens with the main feed, monthly bonus episodes will continue uninterrupted.
Thanks for your support and for bearing with us! -
Ozempic
Ozempic is being hailed as “the end of the Obesity Epidemic.” This week, Mike and Aubrey dig through the sensational claims. But will they make it past the caveats?

September Bonus: Tucker Carlson's "The End of Men"
This month we watched Tucker Carlson's documentary "The End of Men" and WE HAVE THOUGHTS. We're tackling the REAL questions posed by this documentary: is this the series finale of men? Is there an entire generation of American children who simply don't know how to walk? And why is anyone talking about scrotal red light therapy??

August Bonus: Ask Us Anything!
We miss you! We had to take a break this month because Mike developed a (humiliatingly Zelda-related) hand condition. He's figured out how to research episodes using voice commands but we're still working on a solution for editing. We'll be back on the main feed as soon as we can and of course we'll be here next month with another bonus. Schedule
Anyway, on to this month's episode: It's a listener mailbag! We dive into your questions about our burning questions for Gwyneth Paltrow, how to set boundaries about weight loss "compliments" and our most toxic traits. Plus: Recipes!

Impactful podcast that has changed everything
I am currently re-listening to your episodes (I MISS YALL, hope you’re doing okay!!), and I’m realizing how much I have learned through Aubrey and Michael. You have made me a more informed human, challenged me to think about where I learned my beliefs about health/wellness/dieting etc., and encouraged me to help empower others. (Also I push your podcast on anyone who mentions anything related to an episode 🤣). Thank you for the work you do!
Love this show
This is a great show. I think I’ve listened to every episode at least twice now. It’s wonderful therapy. Facts and information balanced with humor and wit and vulnerable real life experience. Thank you Aubrey and Mike. Love you guys.
I miss regular episodes
Is it really bonus content if there’s no regular content?
