Relationship series: The Division of Labor in Relationships with Laura Danger
We are moving into our relationship theme on the podcast, yahoo! In this series, we’ll be talking about romantic relationships, friendships - all kinds of relationships. To kick things off, Laura Danger joins me for a conversation about the division of labor and invisible labor in relationships.
I first learned of Laura on TikTok, of course. She is an educator and an advocate and unapologetically champions for equitable division of labor at home and in the workplace. She raises awareness of the insidious undervaluing of care and empowers domestic engineers to fight back.

Thanks for always keeping it real, living and podcasting authentically, and sharing your vulnerability! After reading/listening to the first 2 books, I own but haven’t read the 3rd one. But this series on How We Heal- has been wonderful for my 18 hour drive from visiting family- where my trauma subconsciously always rears it’s ugly head! Thanks for introducing so many wonderful clinicians and skilled people into my life- and giving me new resources to take back to therapy or use on my own time. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to so many episodes of a single podcast!
I love this show
Still have guests, I have found so many really useful people to follow through listening to Andrea. I love her warm, but probing interview style
