Cakes ROCK is the brainchild of Christy Seguin, a sugar artist who has loved cakes all her life. Before launching Cakes ROCK, she worked in industries like real estate and television, but had always done cakes on the side.
Christy made cakes that no one else could do, like a horse cake for her niece's birthday. People began encouraging her to make baking a full-time passion instead of a hobby.
Now Cakes ROCK is a team of dedicated admin staff, bakers, and designers. Christy would not be where she is now without her wonderful team and the effort they put into each cake!

She knew she had to preserve her wedding bouquet - one of three things that she is now able to admire daily, aside from her ring and husband of course! Many trials and practice later Elissa launched Texas Pressed Flowers. From bridal bouquets to memorial arrangements, she takes your flowers and preserves them into an everlasting keepsake for you to display in your home.

Chelsea Schizas remembers the tiny salon in Bakersfield, California, that her mother took her to almost every day after school when she was a child. “I listened to these ladies have such an amazing connection chatting about their lives, and I enjoyed the environment so much,” Schizas said. “I knew from a young age that I would be in the beauty industry. I wanted to be in that atmosphere.”
She fled California as soon as she could and attended school in San Antonio where she started to dream of owning her own business.
Chelsea and her husband, Demitri Schizas, opened their first brick-and-mortar salon at 2400B Hwy. 290, Ste. 7, Dripping Springs. Little Lauretta’s Powder Room is named for Chelsea’s mother, she said.
The salon specializes in lashes and offers services including lash extensions, lash lifts, lash tints, henna brows, full-body waxing, roll-on sunless tans, facials and chemical peels.
