This is not a typical interview, but more of a laid back chat with good friend, colleague, and all round great martial artist, Ron Amram. This is such a bonus show that I even asked Ron the Patreon-only bonus questions at the end and left them free for you all to hear on this episode. Check it out at the end!

    S5. Ep. 9: Varg Freeborn

What a ride this episode is. From growing up around crime, drugs, alcohol, violence and murder, to spending years of his own life in prison after a life-and-death knife fight, to now training law enforcement and private citizens how to prepare for violence... it's fair to say Varg has a unique story. You need to hear it.

S5. Ep. 8: Psychopathy and Sociopathy with Gershon Ben Keren

How often do we hear self-defence instructors talk about "psychopaths", "sociopaths" or "random psychos" in scenario training, or discuss boogeyman threats? Yet, how many of them truly understand the terminology they are using?

On this important episode, Krav Maga instructor and author, as well as clinically trained psychologist, Gershon Ben Keren, debunks many of the myths and misconceptions around these conditions. This is one not to be missed.

Not just a martial arts podcast

This podcast is good as! I’ve really enjoyed every minute of listening to Joe and his guests. As a Security Manager at a state-of-the-art museum in America, I’m a bit different a listener than most. I have combatives experience, I carry a gun, but my strategies revolve around conflict prevention and deescalation. I love hearing from other “progressive” security people from around the world and this podcast delivers that in heaps. I can’t wait for more seasons!
