The Woman Within: The Diary of a Multi-Passionate Renaissance Woman

The Woman Within: The Diary of a Multi-Passionate Renaissance Woman

It really took "The Diary of a Teenage Girl" for me to remember and realize that I don’t need a man, that I can make my own decisions, and that they can be good decisions. - Miranda Bailey

How does an Oscar-nominated and Spirit-Award-winning producer, director, music composer, actress, innovative CEO, inspirational mom, wife, and Aquarian Goddess transform the expectations of a woman in a man’s world? The one and only, Miranda Bailey, is getting candid about her career in the Hollywood industry, parenting, relationships, and most importantly, about the relationship with herself.

We examine empowering music, astrology signs, and the “Me Too” movement’s effects on women. In addition, Miranda tells us how her company, The Cherry Picks, promotes female and non-binary critical voices in Hollywood. She dissects expectations put upon men and women in society and how we can collectively transform these limiting expectations.

Miranda teaches us to listen to our intuition and overcome doubt to create and expand anything we desire to experience. In addition, she describes how she deals with feelings of overwhelm and how she surrenders to the process of creation while seizing each day. Her knowledge and wisdom are crucial for us as women because if we don’t do it, someone else will. It’s not about doing it perfectly; it’s about doing it and doing it now.

We had just moved to different states, and our wifi was questionable at the time of this recording. But it turned out great, and I’m so grateful to Ms. Bailey for her time and expertise. Get ready to laugh your head off and be empowered to bring your ideas into earthly existence. Your time is now, so press play and listen to this fantastic leader’s secrets to success and happiness.

    Website Design and SEO

    Website Design and SEO

Women belong in all places where decisions are being made...it shouldn't be that women are the exception. – Ruth Bader Ginsburg

In today’s episode, I’m interviewing an intelligent digital Goddess, Shannon Bain, creating quick success for her sought-after expertise and design as CEO of Shannon Bain Digital. She started her company in the spring of 2020, and since then, she’s elevated Shannon Bain Digital to a FULL calendar, 365 days per year, all in less than one year. Yep, this Leo leader knows her stuff in the digital world of website design and SEO, also known as search engine optimization.

Today, she is sharing her advice with you around:

Her marketing strategy with how I discovered her on social media by typing in keywords for website design and SEO.

How she started her business during the pandemic, grew her income and clients very quickly, and gives you tips for starting your business right now or pivoting yours during challenging times in the world.

Explains the disconnect between how the client views your brand and how YOU view your brand. She’s here to elevate your reach through her efficient and creative methods. Bonus! How to get repeat buyers.

Sharing a big mistake of spreading herself too thin and how trying to focus on so many things at one time doesn’t help you grow your company.

Taking on paid projects when they weren’t the right fit for her values for her business- money is NOT everything, but it WILL flow to you when you stay true to your values and morals. She tells you how she stays motivated when these types of experiences happen.

And how the magic happens when you make that decision and commit to it using consistency, regardless of “mistakes” that may occur.

    Fear of Failure

    Fear of Failure

Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising every time we fail. - Confucious

2021 has been a whirlwind of a year filled with hugely positive manifestations mixed with trauma and loss. I had to step away for a bit because my best friend (my Golden Retriever) passed away, I accepted a career promotion at the University of Cincinnati in the College of Medicine, and I moved across the country for the first time in my life. All of this was happening in the summer/fall of this year. They are big changes to navigate through, but even majorly positive manifestations also require adapting and adjusting to your newly up-leveled life.

Now that 2021 is ending and we're gearing up for 2022, I’m kicking off new episodes of the Manifest It! podcast with the beautiful and talented Mona Loring, CEO of MLC PR, Conscious Living PR, and the Conscious Healing Podcast. She's an intuitive and intelligent Gemini Queen who works with prominent Hollywood and entertainment industry figures. She also leads the world with wisdom, honesty, transparency, integrity, and strength (all rolled up into one). It's so needed right now!

In today’s episode, Mona informs you when it’s a good time to invest in PR for your business, how to set realistic expectations of yourself and of others, how to own up to your mistakes, and how to keep going despite them happening. She’s a manifesting queen, and she has a lot of wisdom to bestow upon all of us. Listen now to know how she manages and conquers all things possible, plus a funny story about Kevin Costner.

    Let It Go

    Let It Go

When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be. When I let go of what I have, I receive what I need. – Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu

In today’s episode, I am interviewing a soul-sister, Jennifer Peterson, who is a hugely talented, goodhearted, award-winning producer/director, a passionate animal activist, and the host of the very successful podcast series, And Justice For Animals.

As a filmmaker, Jennifer has created award-winning content for top studios including Disney and Paramount; and she was recently a producer on the Hallmark Channel’s American Rescue Dog Show. A graduate of the prestigious American Film Institute, Jennifer uses her film training as often as possible to create content that encourages positive change.

She wrote and directed three animal welfare PSA's, one of which won the nationally voted Humane Society of the United States People's Choice Award.

A decade ago, Jennifer began organizing peaceful anti-puppy mill protests in Los Angeles, CA. These campaigns garnered nationwide attention for their effectiveness in helping close down several abusive pet stores, and in 2012 Jennifer was able to convince one of the largest mall developers in the country to stop leasing space to pet stores that sold dogs.

Jennifer's production work often finds her interviewing A-list talent: Nicole Kidman, Justin Timberlake, Morgan Freeman are just a few who have sat across from her, and Jennifer's kindness and sense of humor create an environment where guests feel safe to open up. Creating the podcast And Justice For Animals was the natural next step for Jennifer, combining her love of in-depth conversation with her passion for helping animals.

Jennifer lives in Long Beach with her two rescue dogs and helps support local rescues with her real estate work. For Jennifer, it is not about what she does for a living but making sure whatever she does feels authentic and positively gives back to society.

This one is near and dear to my heart because I love animals so much and because the soul connection I feel with Jennifer as a fellow empath pulls at my heartstrings.

If you are feeling super insecure, left out, unloved, unaccepted, and constantly making “mistakes,” then this episode is for you. Jennifer makes me laugh, too!

    Key Topics of Discussion:

How Jennifer juggles wearing multiple hats and streams of income in her career in the entertainment industry, real estate, her animal welfare movement, and being open to shaking things up via change to manifest all her desires

The definition of “happiness” and “success” in your 20s, 30s, 40s, etc.

The power of CHOICE and how manifestations emerge because of it

Overcoming thoughts of scarcity and limited beliefs after tragedy

No, you’re NOT crazy, you’re empathetic, and you’re needed in this world

Identifying your own “compromise” cues because you want to feel accepted by others

How surface-based “image” in society can be a disguise as “blessings” (ex: success, money, fancy cars, big houses, etc.) and what to do when you’ve realized all is not what it seems

Lessons learned from Hollywood narcissists (yes, golden nuggets from them DO exist)

How to obtain your power for the long-run and attract TO you for your long-term happiness and success (Write Into Reality as I call it)

And, yes, we spill a little Hollywood tea!

Her award-winning work with animals and why rescuing pets from shelters is crucial for your long-term benefits (and for your WALLET) over purchasing “designer” pets from breeders…we talk about our pups, too

And I share with Jennifer how I manifested my version of Keanu Reeves!

    Once Upon A Time...In Hollywood & Broadway

    Once Upon A Time...In Hollywood & Broadway

It's not gonna be easy, but it's gonna be worth it. - Movie, Runaway Bride

In today's episode, I interview one of my most favorite people and voice/acting coach, Melanie Veazey, the creator of Impact Coaching and Wellness. She is sharing her wisdom about the power of using your confident voice because it's an instrument that creates a big impact but often gets overlooked for your success. Whether you are an aspiring singer, actor/actress, or you just want to polish your stage and digital-stage presence, Melanie is amazing at her craft. She has worked in both Hollywood and Broadway as well as owning several successful businesses mentoring famous actors/actresses over the years. She is ready to get to the core of what's holding you back while you sip on the tea she serves you about this industry. The bad news? Life is full of ups and downs. The good news? You can still manifest your dreams! Sidenote: we also talk about some of our favorite skincare and self-care rituals. After recording this podcast I hired her as my own voice coach so I can work on my stage presence, too. :)

    Key Topics of Discussion:

Social media tech giants and how they train us to "play the game" (but it's not necessary when manifesting your desires)

What nobody tells you working in the industry of Hollywood, Broadway, and owning your own business

Why your voice and presence is a MAJOR key to becoming successful in your line of work (if you are confident and know how to talk, people listen)

Why "Writing into Reality" (as I call it) really works for ManiFASTing

Sidenote: what to expect as you age when it comes to your self-care and the importance of what she practices through her habits to look as young and amazing as she does (nope, she didn't have botox or surgery, either)

How she learned to trust herself and stop allowing others to define her

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: Mixing It with Spirituality in Love and Your Career

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: Mixing It with Spirituality in Love and Your Career

I love to see a young girl go out and grab the world by the lapels. Life’s a bitch. You’ve got to go out and kick ass. — Maya Angelou

In today's episode, I interview Whitnee Nicole, professional clinical therapist, and creator of Innervibe Tribe. She is sharing her tips to help you receive your dreams of being a successful career woman AND having the best relationships in your life at the SAME time. Over the years, women were taught to have one OR the other, and civilization still likes to treat science and spirituality as separate entities. Whitnee explains why it’s helpful to marry the two lifestyles, and the two realms, because everything is connected unto itself.

    Key Topics of Discussion:

Dealing with narcissistic people and those who gaslight you into making you feel like you’re the “crazy” one (you’re not crazy)

Marrying the ying-yang of the masculine and feminine energy of the Universe from a scientific perspective AND a spiritual perspective (why is it still being treated as separate from each other)

Why Whitnee uses a hybrid model for business branding and why it’s important to do so (I do the same: using our names AND business names for branding)

Learning the character traits of being authentic and transparent in both your life and in your career through the “shedding” process

Getting through the negative energy of divorce and discovering your NEW Carrie Bradshaw mentality about life (being “single” is the new “20’s” ladies!)

Dating again with your new outlook about self-love and self-esteem and the importance of setting positive boundaries

Understanding and embracing that we are life-long students in the process of releasing resistance

Synchronicities of astrology signs who cross our paths to help us heal and evolve in our lives

Why you DON’T want to manifest a specific person into your love relationships (this can even apply to work relationships and friendships, too)
