Manipulating Free Trade to Hurt the U.S‪.‬ The Rick Smith Show

Put simply, when we engage with the world through free trade, some of our partners just don’t play fair. Some countries artificially manipulate everything from wages to safety to child labor, or they simply dump junk products into the market at low prices to chase competition away. In emerging markets, like clean energy, electric vehicles, and more, this manipulation is making competition anything but fair, and China in particular seems to be willing to do just about anything to make it even less fair. We discuss this and more with guests Scott Paul of The Alliance for American Manufacturing and Dave Madland of The Center for American Progress.
