Marine Scientist becomes digital nomad by becoming SalesForce expert with Talent Stacker | Ep 78 Digital Nomad Experts - Beach Commute

    • Places & Travel

Do you have the desire to travel the world as a digital nomad, but maybe you have no idea what type of career you’re actually qualified for (or want to do) remotely? If so, the Salesforce industry may be just the career path you didn’t even know you were meant for, just like our podcast guest this week.

In this episode, we interviewed Alex Warneke, a marine scientist and park ranger who was stationed at a National Park in California while working for the government (a very non-remote job) 🐠🏕️🐙

However, she and her husband had a dream to travel the world...so she started searching for remote career opportunities, even though she absolutely had no idea what she was qualified to do without having to get another degree (and had absolutely zero experience working online) 💻

Listen to the full episode here to find out:

How Alex got certified for a new remote industry with no previous experience, and how recruiters started actually reaching out to her with job offers
How she landed a great paying remote job in just a few months in a brand new industry without ever going back to school 💰
Where she and her husband chose to spend their first months as digital nomads to test out the lifestyle
How their 1 month trip unexpectedly turned into a year-long rock climbing excursion in different locations across the continent 🧗🏾‍♀️
Which countries in Europe she and her husband are headed to next

Talent Stacker is an AWESOME SalesForce career development program founded by Bradley Rice (episode 57). He created this program to help people become marketable SalesForce certified experts.

It was exactly the type of career Alex Warneke was looking for...

Alex was a marine scientist who yearned to become a digital nomad, but her career and background just wasn't the right fit for the lifestyle.

Then she heard about Talent Stacker, and signed up for the program.  In Bradley's program she went headfirst into career development program.

She quickly nailed her first certification. She continued to follow the Talent Stacker program to build her experience, skillset, and marketability. Towards the end of the training recruiters started messaging her!

The program put her in a position where she was fully marketable and assessing job offers. And most importantly they were all remote-friendly jobs!

She quit her job and went on her first digital nomad trip to Canada. From there she laid out a plan to travel the United States on a yearlong rock climbing excursion. She now has plans to stay in the EU with her husband for the next year on a mini-retirement experiment!

Check out Talent Stacker to get you started on a career development program that will enable you to become a digital nomad.
