I recommend This podcast

I really love his way of teaching BUT I do feel like there’s a lil more joking and laughing then I feel comfortable with BUT if u can get the meat outta his teachings then I can recommend it. I know I’ve received some great steps to take that my husband and I have been praying for. So I hope this was helpful. ☺️

emergent? ,

contextualized orthodox Christian teaching

Mark Driscoll can offend some at times; however, his teaching and theology are clearly orthodox and present a high view of Jesus and of the Bible. A reveiwer above commented that Mark Driscoll is not teaching what Christianity is about and in turn recommended Rob Bell of Mars Hill Bible Church. I could not disagree more. Driscoll's teaching presents timeless truths that have been accepted by Bible-believing Christians for 2,000 years, albeit in a sometimes-unconventional way. In contrast, Rob Bell (and others in the emergent movement) are trying to re-write the Bible into a neo-liberal form that is more palatable to them and to the world. The Gospel message as presented in the Bible is by its very nature offensive. We should either accept it or reject it on its own terms based on our own analysis. Trying to water it down into something that is more tolerable to us is simply not an intellectually-honest option. Say what you want about Mark Driscoll. He is honest and pulls no punches about what the Bible says. Some people just don't like that.

Finally some meat!

I was part of Mars Hill a few years back and when Mark left, it kinda sucked the wind out of the preaching for me.
I’ve been listening to Mark’s sermons now for a couple weeks and he hasn’t lost a single step. His sermons are deep and his passion for Jesus is on fire.
The messages give me something to discuss throughout the week with my wife and pushes us to a deeper understanding and desire to know more.
