Mary and Jean: The Sheffield Cathedral Alisdair Adams - One Act Plays

    • Drama

Two very good friends Mary and Jean are visiting the Sheffield Cathedral, listening to the church organ music, viewing the medieval art and enjoying their sandwiches. But what is Jean going on about? Illuminati Ham? Vajazzling? King Tutankamun’s Chiropodist? They’re soon joined by two other ladies and the conversation gets even stranger, including a story about a tragic accident involving triangular chocolate.
It’s just another crazy day in the middle of the steel city, as you join us for our very funny, one-off audiodrama sitcom.
Trust us; it’s better than volunteering as a sniper in the Bolivian Women’s army!
Credits:
Janice Sampson as Mary
Gayle Hazelby as Jean
Sarah Betts as Margo
Mandy Sims as Persephone
and Alisdair Adams as the Singer and Announcer at the Cathedral
