Mary from Michigan Saves the World Empire Podcasting System

Great storytelling - using a radio drama format to tell a modern story. I love the short (10-15 minute) episodes, the soapy nature of the plot, which weaves adventure, family drama, and mystery seamlessly. I'm particularly impressed by the actors and performances - they effortlessly toggle between emotional moments and the requisite expository recaps. But when is Mary going to get a love interest?

I find myself captivated by the pace and vibe of the story — earnest but contemporary. It is of course just getting started, but it’s a pleasure seeing the groundwork laid for threads and plots and subplots and possibilities.

The actors are excellent and the production values are super solid!

What happens next to Mary? I’ll tune in tomorrow.
