Mat & Dwight: Quite a Delight
Mat & Dwight a couple of 💎💎; funny, wise, interesting and kind. Their storytelling and perspectives on old school rap & hip hop, how to efficiently plan road trips and (occasionally) stand up comedy have made my Wednesdays more tenable for many months now. Great podcast for anyone curious about getting into stand up or learning about the mindset it takes to drive 3 hours each way to do a 9 minute set.
Love it!
I’ve always enjoyed stand up but never really sought it out and never took the time to appreciate the work, hustle, and art that goes into crafting a set. Mat and Dwight candidly share their hits and misses as well as offer advice to people thinking about entering the industry. Highly recommend: what’s better than listening to a couple of friends playfully mocking each other while also talking about something that they love?
