The Social Science Research Lab (SSRL) is a multi-functional and multi-faceted facility providing quantitative and technology expertise across disciplines as varied as economic, international relations and economics. The Social Science Research Lab offers tutorials on statistics and use of specific statistical packages.
The facility includes a classroom with 21 stations and a general work area housing 11 computers. The staff provides support for specialized statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, Stata and the like, with expertise ranging from creating an effective research design to interpreting statistical results. The SSRL also has a great variety of other capabilities including HTML authoring programs, specialized data sources and open source software including Open Office, gimp and LaTex.
Good Intro Stata Information
The Stata videos were pretty nice to give you information on how to use some introductory commands in Stata. The classes still apply even though I'm using Stata 11 and worked great as a quick refresher.
