Originally from Baltimore and one of five children, Matt took the scenic route through college from the University of Virginia, and later earned his MBA from Stanford. He spent time as a ski bum in Utah, a wildland firefighter in Idaho, and soldier in the National Guard, where he spent a year in Guantanamo Bay. After a few years on Wall Street, Matt started TentCraft, Inc. after a chance meeting with Paul Britten and has since grown it to 85 employees.
