    237 Hawkeye - Episode 5 spoiler review

“Ronin” maintains the high-quality momentum Hawkeye has been building through 5 episodes now, on our way to what should be a fantastic finale! Florence Pugh is back and as charismatic as ever as Yelena, who confronts Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) with difficult truths and questions about Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner). Speaking of Barton, he’s doing his best to protect his family while trying desperately to get through to Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox). We break down all of that and the arrival of another fan favorite in this spoiler review!

    235 Hawkeye - Episode 4 spoiler review

    235 Hawkeye - Episode 4 spoiler review

Partners, am I right? Another week, another stellar episode of Hawkeye as Clint “CB1” Barton and Kate Bishop continue to develop their partnership and friendship. Strengthening those bonds, however, increases the emotional risk to go with the physical danger our heroes find themselves in. We break down how beautifully this episode handles all of that rich character work, and ugly sweaters, in this spoiler review!

    234 Hawkeye - Episode 3 spoiler review

    234 Hawkeye - Episode 3 spoiler review

“Echoes” is an instant classic that belongs in the conversation for the best Marvel Studios episodes on Disney+ this year. It’s hilarious. It’s action-packed. It moves like it’s being chased by the Tracksuit Mafia in a ’72 Challenger. All of that is cool enough, but it’s the pauses for the emotional, heartstring-pulling moments that make this installment one of the all-time greats.
It’s so much of what we love most about the Marvel Cinematic Universe, all rolled into a single episode and we are delighted to break it all down in our latest Hawkeye spoiler review!

Been listening to Sean's podcast for several years and enjoy celebrating the movies and series of the MCU this way. It's also fun when re-watching the movies to re-listening to the podcasts pertaining to it. Awesome job, keep it going!!! I'm a Patreon subscriber for this show!!!

Sean and Paul are a breath of fresh air

I’ve been seeking out MCU pods since my favorite one ended, shortly after Endgame. Finally, I found one that I can appreciate. These two get it. Sean and Paul clearly illustrate their takes. It’s evident that they care about how they present themselves. It’s clear as day that they’re passionate and not just a couple of posers- it’s refreshing. They can connect the dots in a unique way that organizes everything and you even learn a few tidbits along the way.

Edit:

You’ve mentioned that you’ve done 41 spoiler reviews just this year alone, and keeping track of the abundance of characters that continue to be introduced into the MCU is a challenge in and of itself. Because I fully intend on being a loyal listener from here on out and you have a very legitimate website at your disposal, I’d like to make a request.

Can you have someone create an interactive web/branch styled graphic of heroes and villains as they’re introduced into the MCU canon timeline? Perhaps build it over time by linking characters that have affiliations with each other- i.e. link Kingpin to Hawkeye, Kate Bishop and Daredevil(?), but not necessarily to any other heroes (yet). Once it’s created, maybe reference each character with appearances in the MCU proper and any pods you’ve devoted to the characters, similar to Wookiepedia, but instead of an encyclopedia, it would be an interactive graphic. I understand it’s an extreme undertaking, but you two are already putting in the work breaking everything down and it’s only a matter of time before someone does it- I just hope you two can be the point men.

Sean

I love Sean and he does such a great job. He really understands the characters and the story that’s being told. The frustrating part is listening to Paul hate on everything and stumble over shallow or parroted takes. I love the times just Sean is talking. Other than that, the episodes are a roller coaster from really enjoying it to really not depending on who is speaking!
