A member of the Blood Tribe of Siksikaissksahkoi, or Blackfoot Country, Brave Rock was raised by his grandmother Florence on the Blood Indian Creek Reservoir in southern Alberta, Canada. As a kid, Eugene watched movies and idolized Native American actors on the television screen.
