This week the society explores the intrigue of the Deep South in 1976's Treasure of Matecumbe, directed by Vincent McEveety and starring Robert Foxworth, Joan Hackett, and Peter Ustinov. Hey, when I said Deep South, did it send a shiver down your spine? Perhaps thinking of Polynesian war masks? Glaring dancing ruffians? Oh.... me neither. Anyway, join us as we watch this very unique set of events and perils, and see a little vintage Discovery Island along the way....

One Magic Christmas

This week the society celebrates the holidays by being thankful for not having tragic lives and watching 1985's One Magic Christmas, a movie that lives innocently enough on Disney Plus. Ever wonder what it would be like if everything was wrenched away from you in the cold tundra of Ontario? Well, if you don't want to find out, you'd better believe in Santa. A great podcast
Though I am the son of Robert I will try not to be biased but sometimes I will find myself laughing out loud. They can make a movie that’s supposed to be dark really funny and find something in it to make fun of. My favorite is old Yeller which is really sad if you’ve never seen it before, but you will never suspect it to be dark if you listen to the podcast first.
A great Disney movie podcast.
This podcast is like a book club with friends, except it is for Disney movies and they can’t hear your comments. Like a book club, it may give you a reason to discover a new favorite or to revisit an old favorite that you haven’t seen in a while. 99% of the films will be on Disney plus, so if you have that, you are covered.
