Catt Yiu is a nyc based yoga and meditation educator. Guided meditations are clear, easy to follow and calming. Teachings stem from classical yogic meditation techniques from the Vedas. These techniques include but not limited to pranayama (breath work), Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) and tantric mediations (Chakra balancing).

    This guided 20 minute body scan meditation will help ease you into full body relaxation. This meditation can be performed anytime of the day. In the morning, as a means to decrease tension in the body + mind and welcome the day on. A midday destressing tool giving you a second or third wind. Or most popularly, it can be used to guide the whole body into relaxation at bedtime allowing restful sleep. As you begin to tune into your body, locating where there may be tension, this meditation will follow you through until you have reached a deep easeful state, loosening every muscle along the way leaving you feeling happy, light and euphoric. This meditation can be done laying down or sitting up right if you are experiencing higher levels of tension.

We will aim to clear and balance the Chakra system by way of purifying and releasing any negative energies stored within the body. When performing this meditation, remember by activating the parasympathetic and quieting the sympathetic nervous system we are able to restore harmony and increase our body's natural ability to boost immunity. This meditation may be done sitting up right or laying down; stay healthy friends 3

Best mediation I’ve received

I’ve done mediation before but to have guidance from Catt Yiu helps me 10x’s more. I’m not a perfectionist to mediating so following her episodes on different techniques and methods of breathing helps with my daily thoughts, stress and helps me relax mentally in being in the moment and accepting to just be “Still” realizing the moment of “now.” I will be practicing this everyday before I start my day and the ending of my day. Thank you Catt Yiu for changing my perspective on mediation.

There’s something special about her voice. Not just calm and collected but happy and patient and kind. It’s everything I need to transition into a busy morning.
