Melissa Etheridge: Meet the Musician

When we are captivated by the work of another it is because they have penetrated our protective covering. They have peeled away the shell that protects the soul through their ability to deliver a message that speaks about our own lives. Melissa is a master at using the gifts given to her by the Creator to bring enlightenment, to stir the soul, to get us to search within for our own personal truth. Her ability to connect to every person regardless of where they come from or what path they have chosen seems to come from a place common to us all. I have seen Melissa many times and this short clip of her work represents her ability to connect with her fans by the stories that come from the lyrics she writes, the passion in her voice and the Hendrix hidden in her fingertips that she has just begun to uncover.
