For those ready to delve into the HONEST topics about mental health and how it influences everything in our lives. From the uncomfortable topics, to the ones that make us laugh a little, it will all be discussed. This is an open place to get into the real issues surrounding mental health issues and also mental healthcare.
This episode was taken from a YouTube video I made after reading the book "White Fragility". If you'd prefer watching a video, you can find it on my channel OhHeyMissFaye. This is a conversation I should have had a long time ago but I'm glad I'm opening the discussion now and finding comfort in becoming a better person. If you relate to any of the points I make throughout, I would highly recommend picking up some books and doing some research and educating yourself.

Mental Health and Spirituality; Balancing faith and mental health
Sometimes having faith can make you feel a little...crazy. Am I right? I know I struggle with my beliefs regularly due to the way it feels and how I find my faith. Looking at both mental health and how spirituality can affect that or help that is all in this episode. I still have some more I'd like to speak on this subject, but for now here's my spiral of thoughts on my own faith and views.
Mental Health and Giving Love
This is a way more personal episode and delves into the darkness that my mental illness creates within my love life. I also talk a little about a book I finished lately, The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, which helped me understand love a little better. This episode touches on suicide so be aware when you delve into this one. It gets a little deeper than some of my other episodes.

Mental Health and Conspiracy Theories
TRIGGER WARNING: do NOT listen if you have a hard time struggling with reality or paranoia. Whether you're a believer or a non-believer, some of these theories are just FUN to talk about! It's fun to see how people view the fears of the world through conspiracies, so for this episode I covered QAnon, targeted people, shadow people / shadow figures, and the backrooms! I will say the backrooms are some of my favorite to binge watch online. Let's not forget that a lot of these theories stem from mental illness and other issues related to fear. So, don't take it too seriously, but let's talk about it!
Mental Health and Random Acts of Kindness
Did you see that video on Tiktok of those kids giving me the flowers? Yeah, it's ok, we're all crying. But we don't have to if we all choose to be those kind people. This episode talks a lot about how we view kindness and how we can be better about giving it more than we expect to receive it. Let's be the kindness we wish to see in the world, and it will become a better place.
