MIHH Speaks to Me

I have no idea how I found this show. Paul’s guests, struggle in a sentence, loves and fears so often speak directly to me. I have been a listener through Paul’s divorce, the passing of Herbert and feel like I am a part of his healing process. His emotional honesty is so touching and his ability to be openly vulnerable is a role model for everyone.

BillyTheBoyKidWonder ,

Longtime listener

I found the happy hour when I began therapy and the long journey into my mental health. I cannot overstate how valuable this show has been and specifically Paul as a host. He fosters an environment of honesty (sometimes painfully) and acceptance that really makes you feel close to the people he talks to. Finding people with the same issues/quirks as you makes the journey of self awareness and acceptance so much easier. I’ve even reached out to Paul with questions on topics and he gave a great book recommendation and episodes pertaining to it

A little childish?

There seems to be a theme of run away from people who have “problems” while also trying to support those with problems, which feels insincere. Also watch out if you’re a woman who’s being spoken about as an ex or someone who interacts with a man in a less than ideal way. Low empathy for that group.
