    Part 2: Transforming Lives: Embracing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

    In this enlightening episode, I sit down with Ernesto Cazares, a dedicated counselor and inspiring individual who has overcome numerous challenges to achieve his goals. Ernesto shares his journey of growing up with limited means, battling imposter syndrome, and how he used education as a tool to transform his life. Ernesto attended Fresno City College and transferred to Fresno State in 2006, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology. In 2012, he earned a Master's Degree in School Counseling from National University. Since 2013, he has been working as a Counselor at Fresno City College, helping students navigate their own educational paths and challenges. Outside of his professional life, Ernesto enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, mountain biking, and has recently begun training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. During our conversation, we delve into the importance of education and how it can serve as a powerful catalyst for personal and professional growth. Ernesto opens up about his experiences with imposter syndrome and how he has learned to overcome these feelings to achieve success. We also discuss the world of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, exploring its physical and mental benefits.
