When I first came to this church, the worship was great. I was a little nervous to hear the preacher because I didn't know if he was going to match what I felt about worship. BUT... he did. These sermons are a practical approach to let the Holy Spirit lead your life. ACTS Christian Fellowship nails down three or maybe now four core values: discipleship, quiet time, and evangelism. And the table: where you are reconciled to God and his bride through the confession of sin and breaking of bread see matt. 26. Booker is definitely the pastor that believes therefore he speaks. The environment changes around you when the word of the LORD is delivered. Sometimes, he leaves his notes, and really just goes on a "spiritual tangent." But, it's not really a tangent because someone in the audience really needed to hear it, so God just speaks through him. I really love his wife, Kim. She is a blessing to the body of Christ. The obedience and sacrifice of this family has led ACTS to a new way, love. I've never seen a church as much love as this one. Since he preaches out of love, it is very effective. Otherwise, well you know what 1 Cor. 13 says. Anyway, Listen up and have fun. Be opened, deaf ears and hard hearts! Be enocouraged to walk into the vision and destiny God has for your life. The vision of ACTS is based on Acts 2:42.
