    Good evening metal heads and welcome to another edition of Metal Mayhem ROC.  Tonight, we continue our riveting series “The History of Metal” as we highlight the year 1976.


     The Vernomatic is welcomed back by show correspondence” Metal Walt” and Ian O'Rourke as the guy's dissect some of the greatest releases from 76.


    Vernomatic provides commentary and music from ACDC, and RUSH, as well as updates on Ted Nugent and Aerosmith. Ian catches up with what Thin Lizzy, UFO and Queen have been releasing and highlights the Judas Priest Sad Wings of Destiny era. “Metal Walt” gets us up to speed on the two new kiss releases Destroyer and Rock and Roll Over as well as the state of Black Sabbath and Alice Cooper.


    We highlight  debut albums from Boston, The Runaways, Kokus and Ramones as well as take a peek at the up n coming bands honing their skills in garages and basements around the world.

    Tonight Jon "The Vernomatic" Verno features this weekend’s Metal Hall of Fame ceremony. Due to Covid restrictions the 5th annual event is restricted to a live stream event. 


    Vernomatic welcomes Metal HOF CEO Pat Gesualdo on to discuss, in detail, this year’s inductees and the ceremony its self. 


    Part two of the show, Vernomatic welcomes Roman Fernandez on to the show.


    Roman was the life partner of the late Bill Aucoin, the first Manager of KISS from there conception until 1982. Roman started a grass roots movement to get Bill Aucoin inducted into the the ROCK N ROLL HALL OF FAME, after bill was snubbed when KISS was inducted.

    In episode three of this 15-part series, we highlight the year 1975. We reflect back on what the hard rock and Metal landscape was like, revisit the albums released, what new bands were  debuting and cover, in detail, the comings and goings of the biggest bands in the world.


    1975 saw new albums from Legend bands like LED ZEPPELIN, BLACK SABBATH, QUEEN, ALICE COOPER and UFO as well as follow up releases from up and comers RUSH, KISS, SCORPIONS, MONTROSE and BAD COMPAY.

    Tonight, we are featuring two young bands that have been gaining a loyal following, both have new material out and are eager to share their story


    SPIRIT ADRIFT


    New masters of heavy metal — are back.  Not even a year after their critically acclaimed album Enlightened In Eternity, Spirit Adrift have returned with yet another masterpiece: a 20 minute-long, three-track E.P. titled Forge Your Future. 


    Marcus Bryant returns to the show to share details of the writing of this E.P., how the new members have fit in and touches on the fall string of shows.


    ENFORCER


    If you’re looking for classic heavy metal with a modern edge, Swedish quartet Enforcer have got you covered. The band play the kind of high-flying, balls-out music that make fingerless leather gloves feel like a necessary purchase.


    Guitarist and Vocalist Olof Wikstrand joins us to get us up to speed on what the band is up to. Enforcer have just dropped a new single titled “Kiss of Death,” and holy shit is it a lot of fun.


    This is a great peek at two of the “Young Guns” that are making a impact in the Heavy Metal landscape in 2021.
