The show kicks off with MESPY Winners from Edwardsville High School tennis players Jesse Hattrup and Colton Hulme, who discuss playing against each other and their fond memories of the season. Next up, Edwardsville HS Track and Field Assistant Coach Carry Bailey is in the studio to to talk about the success that his jumpers had at state including 1st and 3rd place overall in triple jump. Finally, Althoff Track Coach Mike Sanders is back to discuss his recent retirement from the sport and his upcoming move to Florida. Sanders brings with him boys MVP Ray Clemons and girls MVP Eris Nelson. Nelson and Clemons profess their love the sport and how they deal with pain of distance running.

Roxana Girls Soccer Coach Lori Yates is the Keller Williams Marquis, Blasingame Group Coach of the Month. Coach Yates discusses coaching at Roxana and the experience she draws upon from her playing days for Coach Baker at Granite City. She is joined by super goal scorer Kendall Kamp, who discusses breaking the single season scoring record at Roxana and her commitment to play at Bellarmine next fall. Next, Red Bud HS Softball Coach Brian Boeving is in the studio to talk about his team's conference championship winning season and how much he is enjoying coaching at RBHS. Boeving is joined by star catcher Lyla Hess, who shares her love for the sport, especially hitting. Hitting cleanup, Jerry Aplin, the top singles player in the Belleville West tennis lineup, talks about winning the Southwestern Conference Coaches Association award for Sportsmanship and how he got into the sport. And, Aplin discusses winning state in the Comedic Duet Competition.

The show begins with BW Girls Soccer Coach Jason Mathenia and his daughter, senior mid-fielder, Carolyne. Coach Mathenia discusses the joys and challenges associated with coaching one's own child, and Carolyne talks about her knack for finding the net and her decision to play at University of Illinois at Springfield next year. Then, SLU Baseball Coach Darin Hendrickson is joined in the studio by his son, Andrew, a pitcher and third baseman on the Edwardsville HS team. The Hendricksons share their passion for the game, and Andrew sheds light on why he chose Lincoln Land CC for his next stop. Finally, Madison HS Athletic Director and Head Boys Basketball Coach Phil Gilbert, reveals the many stops in his amateur and professional career, which include but are not limited New Zealand, France, Hungary, and Germany. Coach Gilbert also discusses his East St. Louis upbringing and how it toughened him up for life as a collegiate basketball player.

Next, Edwardsville HS throwers Dallas Jenkins and Kaitlyn Morningstar share their thoughts about finishing 1-2 in the Southwestern Conference in throws, their expectations on the remainder of the season, and what they'll miss about EHS next year. Rounding out the show, Granite City Girls Soccer Coach Ken Prazma brings with him Team Captains Peyton Hatfield and Ella Hickam. Prazma discusses how being a Fire Chief prepared him to coach the team, and the girls discuss their incredible season, their expectations for the post-season, and their plans to keep playing after high school.

The Portells share their long family history in the Highland community, and Altadonna discusses the motivation for his 5.0 grade point average and his charitable contribution. Next, Anthony Jones, sports reporter for the Times Tribune, talks about covering Triad HS sports and what it's like to cover his hometown school. And, guest #3 is IBCA Hall of Famer, Joe Parmentier, who has recently accepted the Bunker Hill Head Boys Basketball Coach position. Parementier, who most recently retired from coaching the girls at East Alton Wood River, describes his passion for coaching and why he just couldn't resist the opportunity to back into coaching.

This podcast never disappoints with local on air talent that have substantial sports backgrounds, entertaining guests and memorable stories. The show does a great job of providing a variety of sports and schools represented.
