There is nothing like a relationship built on eating sample foods in a parking lot (last weekend was Mutton meatballs).

Carla sings originals so I tried to make her sad and write Blues. She did some songs in the studio, including one title "The Show" that she wrote after a singing a show at the Colony. We talked about motivation and how creativity comes to her. She is filled with energy and lights up a room.

I was a little trouble. I said that if Woody Guthrie's guitar kills fascists, how would she use hers as a weapon. I did persist on what instrument I could play in her band (cowbell), and asked if she could write a tune with the words "Blurry Missouri." I did ask if she wrote propaganda songs for the government.

It was fun. Listen tonight at 7 pm or this weekend each day at noon at www.radioIDL.com.[/box]
