Thoughtful and nuanced

This podcast interviews so many interesting people whose work inside and outside the church impacts faith communities. I wish I lived closer to Denver so that I could attend these recordings and become a member of the Cathedral.

Insightful, Challenging and Encouraging

As a straight, white, middle-aged, married male with two children in the upper middle class of America, I believe it would be safe to say that I'm one of the target demographics for conservative, modern, western Evangelical Christian churches. And to say that I've come to find that quite disconcerting would be an understatment.

I've recently begun (better late than never) critically examing what I hold as "sound doctrinal beliefs" in an effort to turn from or refine what I've been told is true. And throughougt this journey I have found Mile High Theology material to be a cornerstone in what many would refer to as my personal, religious deconstruction. The care and compassion in discussing thorny topics (for me at least) calm me and encourage me. They feel like home.

As I continue to listen, I continue to grow, and that's the most I could ask of any material. But the most I could ask of another human is love, and Broderick Greer delivers in spades. I hope you relax, listen, laugh and enjoy as much as I have.
