Thank you! I appreciate this so much!

I just wanna say that I appreciate the message and stories that come from this podcast. I am Irish-Mexican who is white passing and have dealt with a sense of no identity or culture my entire life. I have never been able to talk about my feelings with anybody until I met my husband who is also Irish-Mexican. In recent days living in Minnesota, there are many hard conversations happening around racism on all levels. This Covid time has created a space which has forced me to work through this long standing identity crisis that I have pushed aside. This podcasts truely helps me feel like we are not alone. And that there are others who really understand our own unique challenges. I want to thank you for bringing this type of discussion into a more public eye, where often it gets glazed over or dismissed. Thank you!

Real, necessary talk!

I never knew how much I needed this—thank you, Sharmane!! I am a biracial woman who is white-presenting, but raised entirely by my black family—the identity crisis phenomenon is REAL...from the first episode I listened to, I felt truly seen for the first time in my entire life. Such good, deep conversation with every guest—I’m constantly learning more about myself and it’s been life-changing. Everyone should hear this podcast!
