Getting Settled After the PCS to Charles Schwab
For many of us, going from USAA to Charles Schwab is new territory. We don’t know what to expect. Will we like it? Will they understand me? Will they help me? Schwab is here to answer all of those questions and more.
Danielle Munoz is the Schwab Vice President of Virtual Member Branch. Danielle leads the virtual branch network at Charles Schwab that serves USAA members who’ve recently transitioned to Schwab for wealth management services. And most importantly, she’s a fellow Army brat.
Danielle shares in this show what it looks like from the other side of the transition for USAA members becoming Schwab customers. We talk about what Charles Schwab is like and their core values. We also discuss the preparations Schwab has made to welcome us all, to include the tools and resources they have to help the military community with their investment needs.
The Changing Landscape of USAA Investments (What you Should Know)
If you’re a USAA member, you know there have been some big changes to their investments. If you’re not, you’ve probably heard everyone talking about it.
Many people want to know the down-low on what happened and what the future of USAA investments looks like and how Charles Schwab is part of that future. To get all the deets, I’m doing a two-part series with Charles Schwab and USAA to get you some exclusive information about the transition.
To kick off the series, I’m talking with Mary Stork, the President of the USAA Investment Services Company (ISCO). She also serves as GM of Strategic Investment Relationships, overseeing the Charles Schwab and Victory Capital referral agreements and the day-to-day relationship management of each firm.
We talk about what USAA investments looked like before the changes, why USAA made the decision to change how they provide investment value to their members. Plus Mary shares what it looks like moving forward and what USAA members get out of the deal.
TRICARE 2020 - What You Need to Know
Did you know it’s TRICARE Open Enrollment? From now to December 14, 2020, service members and retirees can change their medical care. There have also been some recent changes with enrollment fees. To get an update on everything going on with TRICARE, I’ve gone straight to the source.
Mark Ellis oversees the development and execution of enrollment policies for all TRICARE medical plans. Mr. Ellis served for 22 years in the United States Air Force, the last 15 years as a Medical Service Corps officer.
Investing Mistakes People Make and How You Can Avoid Them

Jeff Wright is a managing director and portfolio manager responsible for wealth management to NovaPoint Capital’s high-net-worth clients. Before joining NovaPoint, Jeff was a Vice President in the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch. And he was a Field Artillery Officer in the Army.
In this show, Jeff shares some common investing mistakes people make, avoid them and make up for past mistakes.
