A podcast made by military wives for military wives, or anyone who wants a peak behind the camouflage curtain. Eavesdrop in on two friends catching up and talking about topics relevant to our community with an unfiltered realness that is sprinkled with a healthy dose of humor. We are not professionals, we don't claim to be authorities, but we do have some years, miles, and experiences between us that military AND civilian wives can relate to.
41. Nursing School & Dog Farts
We're back!!!!! It was so nice to catch up after a little life-mandated hiatus! In this fun episode we talk about what has kept us away you, our adoring listeners. We also delve deep into the topic of flatulence. Dog flatulence that is! Seriously, it was great to podcast after what felt like for ever!

40. Sarah Streyder: Secure Families Initiative
Sarah Streyder is an exemplary mil spouse who did not feel there was a system set up for getting involved in the voting and advocacy process so, she set up that system. She has created the initiative Securefamiliesinitiative.org to empower the military community to share their stories and make a difference by educating the public. A big emphasis of this initiative is involvement in the voting process to affect foreign policy. Please visit Sarah's website: https://securefamiliesinitiative.org
39. Happy New Year! Where Can I Find A Job?
We're back!!!! It's a new year and we're back in your earholes discussing some relatable topics and answering some of your questions. In this classic Karen and Calla episode you can expect to hear about some resources for employment and to have many laughs. Don't forget to stick around the end of the episode for some truly funny bits of conversation that got cut from the main podcast.
Please tell your friends about us and if you have any burning questions or suggestions for the podcast, write to us on instagram @militarywivesunfiltered or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
37. Messaging To Spouses & Standing Your Ground
In this episode we are happy to discuss a topic that is, as most things, subjective. We talk about advise to spouses coming from senior leadership: we love to hear what senior spouses have to say as they have walked a path we've yet to walk ourselves. We wanted to add our two cents to this and mention some of the things that we would've liked to hear when we began our journey. Please send us your comments on this and tell us what your thoughts are.
As always, please take some time to review us or to comment on instagram @militarywivesunfiltered or be a peach and tell a friend. If you hear something (that you like) say something.
