Anonymity is your name. Silence your native tongue. You're no longer part of the System. You're above the System. Over it. Beyond it. We're "them." We're "they." We are the Millennial Movie Club. This week we're talking about Men in Black. Has the world ever seen a performance quite as brilliant as Vincent D'Onofrio playing Edgar? Would we ever ever in a million years agree to join MIB? How did the bug fit itself into Edgar's tiny body? You know what the difference is between you and me? I make this look GOOD.

A Movie Club I’m Excited to Join

I absolutely love this podcast! It really hits that sweet spot of nostalgia and comedy. Jaz and Daniel have such an amazing rapport and it feels like you’re just listening to your own friends geek out on your favorite childhood films. They definitely have me coming back for more and can’t wait to see what they do next.-Danielle, No More Late Fees Podcast

Drive at your own risk - uncontrollable laughter could occur

This is my new favorite podcast! The nostalgia factor is great —shoutout to Dunkaroos and Skip-its— and the comedic tone is perfect. Jaz seems like the coolest human and Daniel brings a nice balance. I’ve been listening to episodes every day and once, while I was driving I started laughing so hard, I couldn’t see. Thanks Ted Pepsi. Every Millenial should listen to this podcast!

In hopes that this podcast continues for many more episodes, I’m dropping in some of the movies I had on repeat in my youth (in no particular order) for ideas: Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the movie, obvi), Curly Sue, Pretty Woman, Witches of Eastwick, Nightmare Before Christmas, George of the Jungle, Remember the Titans, Miss Congeniality, Mulan, Tarzan, Life as a House, The Professional, Elf, Fern Gully, Big Daddy, Trading Places, Goodwill Hunting, Goodfellas, Uncle Buck, Cool Runnings, Summer Rental, Beetlejuice, The Sandlot, Clueless. This list is obnoxiously long now so I’ll stop.

Comedy nostalgia silliness. Jaz and Daniel are so fun to listen to!

I discovered The Millennial Movie club after following Jaz Zepatos on instagram. Jaz had posted a hilarious-because-it-is-true short of herself as a pre-teen who is fantasizing that a celebrity character will show up in her bedroom, which I reshared. She was so sweet to return my DMs on instagram!

So, I started listening to this podcast and have listened to many episodes - I do skip the pod episodes for movies I never watched. I really enjoy the banter between Jaz and her friend Daniel. I love how they occasionally talk about who they had crushes on in the movies they watched (he loved KStew, I believe?, and she loves Keanu because DUH he’s handsome and who doesn’t love Keanu?!) I also like that they can both enjoy the movies of the 90s and 2000s while also being critical. I definitely thought differently about a certain NY-based rom com I’ve seen a million times, after listening.

TLDR: If you like listening to recaps of movies you vaguely remember loving and you enjoy comedy, check out Millennial Movie Club. It’s also a perfect de-stressor too, as it’s silly and fun!
