Computational biologist Dr. Christin Glorioso models the pandemic
Christin Glorioso, MD PhD (@DrGlorioso) is a computational biologist competing in the X-Prize to predict the course of the Covid19 pandemic.
After a year-plus of demoralizing news on this topic, Dr. Glorioso might be able to provide us some optimism and maybe even see the light at the end of the tunnel.
The latest data shows her model is the #1 ranked prediction model in the competition - take a look at this chart and see how her prediction model maps onto the actual case numbers in recent weeks, and then look where those tend-lines go in the near future.
Maybe we'll get back to movie theaters & comic book conventions sooner than we thought?
