Accessible and fascinating

I don’t have a science or tech background but futurism and AI issues are subjects I find fascinating. August’s interviews are fairly easy for even a hobbyist like me to understand. I most recently listened to the Shannon Valor episode, which was my favorite episode so far because of her seamless bringing-together of social and ethical issues with AI considerations.

Much potential, but giving up

There aren't many podcasts on futurist ideas, so this is worth checking out. Some good interviews with futurists (some who I know), but a couple of episodes were real turn offs. "Live Stream" monolog format now mixed in the stream: meh. Host sometimes seems out of touch with topics. Audio quality is *sometimes* pretty poor. A bad Skype connection is NOT acceptable for any but a beginner-amature podcast.
