Join me today for part two of a two part episode with hosts of the Find the Magic Podcast, Felica Allen and Taralyn Griffin. Last time, we discussed non-negotiables in parenting, how can we distill down to what our kids REALLY need and four pillars of parenting our children. This episode will focus on discipline. How we can set ourselves up to discipline minimally, how we can pursue less reactive discipline/parenting and how to set & hold limits, lovingly!

    Minimalist Mom Spotlight: Nikita Seal

    Minimalist Mom Spotlight: Nikita Seal

A series focused on 'real' minimalist moms: It’s odd to refer to this series that way but I wanted to encourage the everyday mom that you don’t have to go to extremes (or have a giant platform) to influence minimalism to those around you.
Today I bring you my conversation with Nikita Seal. Nikita is mom to five year old boy/girl twins. She is host of the podcast Anxiety is a Mutha! where she and her co-host discuss anxiety and depression and how prevalent it is in the black community but is hardly ever addressed. She refers to herself as a corporate hippie (as she's a free spirit who feels trapped in the redundant corporate life.) A minimalist at heart, she has recently begun making major strides in clearing the mental clutter.

EP129: Simplifying Together [Dividing Tasks & Playing to Strengths in Marriage] with Jessie Ereddia

Today I bring you my conversation with fellow podcaster, Jessie Ereddia. Jessie is a mother of two [almost three] girls, the host of the Mom Empowered Podcast, and an Empowerment Coach. She empowers moms to gain the emotional wellness they need to confidently create the life they've always wanted. This discussion covers the importance of "regrouping" with your spouse regularly to assess how the division of household/child-related tasks are working (or NOT working) in your home and Jessie will give practical advice of how to play on each other's strengths when you are delegating and divvying up who does what!

A series focused on 'real' minimalist moms: It’s odd to refer to this series that way but I wanted to encourage the everyday mom that you don’t have to go to extremes (or have a giant platform) to influence minimalism to those around you.
Today I had the opportunity to talk with minimalist mama, Dakota Curfman. She is a mom of four littles and works from home pursuing her passion to help other moms simplify their motherhood, while also chasing creative passions. She and her husband sold everything they owned + moved into a travel trailer to pursue a more minimalist lifestyle, while focusing on being present + intentional.
