My favorite podcast
This podcast is an excellent breakdown of the mistborn series and how it relates to the cosmere. Love the breakdown of chapters and characters and their sense of humor. Listen to this on my way to work.
This. Is. The. Worst.
I want to keep listening because I love these novels and this story, but these people reviewing and discussing it, almost come off as if they have no idea what stories they are reviewing. Admittedly I’m only maybe 3-4 podcasts in, but it’s awful and is only a commentary on social justice and complaints that Sanderson was not progressive enough in a series where the main character, who is a female, is actually a great and complex character where at the time, there may have not been main female characters who were fully out together as a warrior, love interest, beauty, non-Beauty, vulnerable, strong, etc. Actually listening to this is ruining the story for me. It makes me want to start my own podcast Bc I actually love and understand the ongoings in these books/the series. It’s truly unfortunate there’s no other podcast that more accurately and appropriately discusses these books. Awful.
One of my favorites!
I’m new to the world of Seth and Patrick, but I have to say, becoming a patron and joining in on the Discord discussions is so fun and enlightening. These guys know so much about the Cosmere and are masters at imparting that knowledge to the listeners. If you’re new to Mistborn and the Cosmere or an old pro, give this a listen. It’s 100% worth your time.
