David and Dan offer their thoughts on his hiring, and whether or not this will lead to a better Twins team in years to come. Dan wants to know what makes Shelton think he'll have more success here as compared with Pittsburgh, while David thinks it may be time to strip the team down even further from a business perspective.     The Chicken and the Egg (2025 Postseason No. 1)

    Send us a text Within a day of the end of the Minnesota Twins' season, manager Rocco Baldelli was fired and two articles were published about the Pohlad family. Somewhat surprised by both, David, Dan and Hoges recap each development. They are puzzled by the timing of the firing, even if it seems merited. They also offer up one former Twins player as a replacement candidate, though they'd prefer someone with a firmer approach than Baldelli's. And, as they generally agree: The recent stories about the Pohlads only add to the narrative that the family is not in it to win it.
