Mocs on the Mic 30 - Hannah Huesman Mocs on the Mic

Current Philadelphia Phillies Mental Skills and Performance Coach and former two-sport student-athlete Hannah (Thurley) Huesman joins host Chris Goforth on this week's episode of Mocs on the Mic.  Huesman began her career in Major League Baseball as a Mental Conditioning Coach Intern with the Pittsburgh Pirates before joining the Phillies staff full-time in 2019. She focuses on the mental aspects of the Phillies organization and its players including anything from confidence to motivation to composure.  A 2014 graduate, Huesman earned her Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport Psychology and Moto Behavior at UTC while conducting herself as an athlete on both the softball and women's basketball teams. Hannah is married to former UTC quarterback and current tight ends coach Jacob Huesman, who finished a legendary career with the Mocs in 2015.  Listen as she talks about her time at UTC, working with professional athletes in the MLB, how important mentality is in sports, and more.
