Today I'll be talking with Grant, Billy and Zane Gardner. Grant is one of the founding members of iconic Geelong punk rock band, Bored!. His two sons followed in his footsteps over a decade later, playing in bands together such as The Living Eyes, Vertigo and Cereal Killer. Billy also started the label Antifade Records out of Geelong, which has gone on to have a huge impact on the Melbourne Punk and Proto Garage scene over the last decade. Necessary listening for both music and interviews

Modern Australian Underground is an integral resource for interviews and music from a continent that has produced some of the greatest sounds from the 20th and 21st century. Host Christina Pap curates worthwhile playlists and has a real knack for conversation, using the platform to visit issues outside of creating music. MAU sets a high bar for other radio shows to meet.

A lovely listen

What a lovely way to hear about new underground music coming out of Australia. Oddly soothing voice that serves up the tunes as the stars of the podcast.
