Parker Vegas Salon Dinner
In Late February, Jay Greenstein and I hosted a Salon Dinner at Parker Vegas for a hand-selected party of 8.
What is a Salon Dinner?
“In the 17th and 18th centuries, salons became popular venues for philosophical, political, and other moderated conversations. Women were the center of salon life. They selected the topic, invited guests and directed the conversation throughout the event. While these events were social, there was always a theme of education and idea sharing. Today, salons are having a revival moment. In our digital age, we have unlimited access to information and various feeds of opinions to consume. Modern day salons are bridging the gap between information sharing and face-to-face interactions. Bringing meaningful discussion topics to the dinner table or happy hour has created an avenue for people to share thoughts and solve problems in a social environment.” - Cameron Cler
We chose the topic of the disconnect between private practice owners and DCs looking for great jobs. We dove into the struggle to afford great teams and to find great jobs. We kept the conversation on track and had a great time working through ideas to help start the dialogue of improvement.
In this episode, I discuss some of the takeaways from the Salon Dinner and other professional aspects. -

Is Your Practice Buc-ee's or Waffle House?
If you know about Buc-ee’s, you know about Buc-ee’s. If someone has been, they will tell you all about it. It is remarkable.
Is your practice remarkable? Do you have raving advocates? Or is it just another practice?
In this episode, I explain why you need to be more like Buc-ee’s and less like Waffle House and what exactly that means.
It is time we aim for remarkable and invest in ourselves and our business to become remarkable. -

Many chiropractors are busy but not able to break through and afford to hire help and grow to the next level. We have all heard the term scaling, but it doesn’t mean you must scale to many locations like The Joint.
Scaling means getting your one practice efficient and continuously breaking through the complexities of your business.
Capacity issues in your practice can take many shapes, from lack of office space, equipment, team, or room on your schedule to seeing more patients and providing a high quality of care.
In this episode, Dr. Clay Sankey shares his story of breaking through a capacity issue and is now on the other side of capacity complexity.
You will gain insights into how to improve your practice, build a team to help you and provide an even better patient experience with optimal patient outcomes.

I gain so much value from this podcast. They talk about numerous marketing and practice management techniques that would have taken thousands of dollars to learn elsewhere.
