Jess Krux is a Health Chef, Nutrition Practitioner and Mama of two boys. She lives in New York City and part-time on their organic farm in upstate New York. She believes food is medicine and has the capacity to transform the body and mind. She specializes in vibrant, nutrient dense, anti-inflammatory foods. Her focus is on the gut-brain-skin connection and teaches how to implement simple ways of cooking using real food ingredients. Jess struggled terribly with cystic acne. She dove deeper into nutrition to continue learning the effects food has on the skin. Through the voyage of endless experiments, food eliminations and hours of study she came to learn that the health of the skin is directly related to the health of the gut. Jess is an advocate for intuitive eating, cooking with the senses, and tuning into what the body's personal constitution needs. Certified in Yoga and Meditation, she often brings eastern medicine practices into the kitchen. She believes it doesn't have to be complicated to be effective, not only while cooking, but in everyday life.
