Cat & Nat are two moms/women trying to not live in the confines that society puts on them. As they debunk the myths, challenge the scripts and give women (and men) the freedom to say f*ck it.
Through BFF conversations that everyone is thinking about but no one is talking about on Tuesdays, guest interviews on Thursdays and non traditional “Sex Fridays”, Cat & Nat take this podcast to a whole new level of f*ck it, inspiring their listeners to find themselves, their true selves. Not the ones sold by motivational speakers but the self that tried daily, sometimes nailing it and sometimes failing it.

    Does P.Diddy = P.Done?

    Does P.Diddy = P.Done?

P.Diddy, what are you doing?? Homeland Security was all over his place, which means they have official evidence. How do people think that they are above the law and won't get caught?? S*x trafficking is often carried out by people you know and trust, sold in exchange for money, gifts, or housing, preying on vulnerable people. It's important that we are aware and can talk to our children about it. You can find exactly what to say, how to talk to your children, terminology, and more at https://www.thecommonparent.com/

You Have To Do The Hard Things

You Have To Do The Hard Things

This is the thing about parenting: you have to do the hard things. You can't just threaten them; you have to follow through. Nat had to put her foot down and make a hard decision, which was not a fan favourite among the people she was with and was encouraged not to make that decision. But the disrespect needed a consequence. How are our kids going to learn if there aren't any consequences? Nobody wanted the consequence, but sometimes there is short-term pain for long-term gain.

How To Get Your Kids To Listen with Amy McCready

How To Get Your Kids To Listen with Amy McCready

Many parents find themselves in a pattern; they calmly ask their kids to do something and nothing happens. Then they repeat themselves, repeat it again, with one more reminder and then…they blow up. When kids don’t listen, parents often feel the need to take back control and you can almost guarantee that you’ll enter into a power struggle where no one comes out as the winner. In this episode, you’ll learn that misbehaviour is always a symptom of a deeper issue, what causes it, and the strategies to correct it. Amy McCready — who describes herself as a “recovering yeller” — is the Founder of Positive Parenting Solutions and the author of two best-selling parenting books: If I Have to Tell You One More Time and The “Me, Me, Me” Epidemic. To learn more about Amy check out https://www.positiveparentingsolutions.com/.

    #TradWife

    #TradWife

We covered a lot of ground today! We started with your submissions but kinda went off the rails as usual. From Ritz cruises - which we think we need to go on - to empty nesters, to #tradwives, we covered it all. We're not so sure about this tradwife trend. Many of the women we talk to are doing everything now but not receiving the benefits of being a #tradwife. Check it out and let us know what you think!

Trailblazer and Hockey Legend Hayley Wickenheiser

Trailblazer and Hockey Legend Hayley Wickenheiser

Dr. Hayley Wickenheiser is one of the best female hockey players in the world. With seven world championships, six Olympic appearances, and five Olympic medals, she is a titan of sport and a leader both on and off the ice. She is a hero, an inspiration, and a mentor to so many young athletes, helping to make the dreams of young girls in hockey attainable. She accomplished all of this before a women's league existed and is now a shining light for women's hockey today. And if that wasn't enough, after retiring from hockey in 2017, she is now a practicing Family and Emergency Medicine doctor. We love her story and hope you do too! Follow her @hchickwick.

    Diversify Your Child's Friend Group

    Diversify Your Child's Friend Group

If there is one piece of advice for any parent, it is to diversify your child's friend group. Put them on different teams or in different camps. Do not stick with the same kids all year round. This includes boys too. Sh*t goes sideways. If you stick with one group from Kindergarten to Grade 12, there will be issues. You want your child to be able to walk away from an issue if needed. If they have different friends in different groups, they will be able to walk away.

5 stars minus audio

Love love love this podcast. I will say, it is pretty hard to listen due to the poor audio quality. It sounds super echoey and like their voices are very far from the mic. I have to turn my volume up super high just to be able to barely hear. Other than that, love!

devvitay ,

Do not attend their shows! Seriously

The most inauthentic “ performance “ waste of money and time. Bought VIP tickets and was told an email was sent about time. No! They lied. However, the next day it showed up. How weird. NOT! The “mom’s suffer from large egos and small integrity. They sold their souls to the fame and now the moms will be another nagging ungrateful witches society wants legit daily life as moms to be downplayed. Please do not spend one penny and one second of your busy life to these arrogant liars! When people show you who they are, believe them.
