Football Nation's "Monday Morning Huddle": Quarterbacks & Contracts

Football Nation proudly presents the seventh episode in Season 4 of "Monday Morning Huddle" with host Dave Holcomb.
On this week's episode, Holcomb focuses on quarterbacks and contracts with some overlap in-between. First, the show welcomes back FN Fantasy Expert Anthony Grace, who breaks down the quarterbacks for fantasy football this season. Grace has who owners should target as their No. 1 quarterback, who are the sleepers and much more in our first segment.
In the second segment, Holcomb reviews the Dez Bryant and Demaryius Thomas contracts signed at the franchise tender deadline on July 15. Both receivers will make $70 million over the next five years. However, not all players who were franchise tagged received a long-term deal at the deadline. After suffering a firework accident on July 4, New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul didn't sign a contract extension.
Finally, in our 'Fourth and Long' segment, our host discusses Roger Goodell's tactics for releasing "Decision 2.0" regarding Tom Brady's suspension, Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Cameron Heyward's new deal, and Brett Favre's return to Green Bay. All that and more in this episode of "Monday Morning Huddle".

Football Nation's "Monday Morning Huddle": 2015 NFL Draft Recap

Football Nation proudly presents the second episode in Season 4 of "Monday Morning Huddle" with host Dave Holcomb.
The show welcomes two more guests onto this week's episode to help recap the 2015 NFL Draft. In the first segment, Holcomb asks FN Reporter Eric Wagner his thought on quarterback Marcus Mariota landing in Tennessee, defensive end Leonard Williams falling to the New York Jets at No. 6 and which questionable character guys have the best chance to succeed on their respective teams.
In the second segment, Holcomb is happy to welcome back FN MVP Brendan Cassidy. The show returns to a couple topics from last week's episode, including wide receiver Jalen Strong and quarterbacks Bryce Petter and Brett Hundley, while also opening up new discussing such as the Dallas Cowboys lack of desire to address the running back position in the draft.
At the end of each conversation, Wagner and Cassidy share their expectations for the two teams they follow the most closely, the 49ers and Giants, respectively.
As always, the show concludes with the 'Fourth and Long' segment where Holcomb talks general draft news, LSU tackle La'el Collins, and the draft fallout for quarterbacks Zach Mettenberger and Sam Bradford. All that and more in this episode of "Monday Morning Huddle".

Football Nation's "Monday Morning Huddle": 2015 NFL Draft Preview

Football Nation proudly presents episode 100 of "Monday Morning Huddle" with host Dave Holcomb. For the special event, MMH has two great guest stars in FN Contributor and Mock Draft expert Brendan Cassidy and NFL Writer and former Criminal Defense Lawyer Julie DiCaro.
In the show's first segment, Holcomb asks the most pressing NFL Draft questions to Cassidy, including where quarterback Marcus Mariota will land, what impact the rookie wide receivers will have on the league this season and whether the draft will finally see a running back selected in the first round again. All that and more in our NFL Draft preview with Cassidy.
Next, the show welcomes a very important guest in DiCaro, who wrote a great piece called Five Things the Chicago Bears need to know about domestic violence after the Bears signed defensive end Ray McDonald this offseason. DiCaro explains what compelled her to write the article and then answers Holcomb's questions on domestic violence in the NFL.
Finally, this 100th episode concludes with the 'Fourth and Long' segment where Holcomb shares his thoughts on the Philadelphia offseason, Philip Rivers trade rumors and the possibility of Adrian Peterson landing in Dallas.
