    The Winchesters Trailer Discussion

Hey folks, yesterday while we were reecording our NEW podcast Still His Kingdom Keeps, which you should all be listening to, the trailer for The Winchesters appeared on the internet. So naturally Chris and I decided to talk about it, and then naturally we decided to make it into hashtag content for the internet mill. What do you think about the prequel trailer? Let us know!

    Episode 272: MOTW Interviews....Bob Wess

It's a new episode of MOTW! We invited the one and only Bob Wess onto the cast this week so we could talk about all things Supernatural, and get mad about the finale all over again. It's a fun conversation and we are now all best friends. Be sure to check out the links below and give Bob a follow on all his various social medias.

Episode 271: MOTW Interviews...the Escaping Purgatory Podcast

Hello folks! Like we mentioned several times during the leadup to our finale coverage, Chris and I don't want to just abandon MOTW, nor do we want to stop talking about Supernatural. So this is the first episode in hopefully a series of bonus episodes where we talk to people from the SPN community. Today's episode features Amy and Annabelle from the great Escaping Purgatory podcast! Unfortunately we had some technical issues, so the sound quality isn't what you're used to (unless you're still listening to S1 Chris), but it's definitely listenable, and we had a great conversation about all sorts of subjects. Be sure to look at all their links below.

Episode 270: White Tail Means Stop

Hello hunks! Welcome to the feedback episode for S15, in which Chris and I listen to and read from your thoughts and feelings on how the hit TV show ended. We cover a LOT in this episode, which sort of feels like the ending of MOTW even though it really isn't. It definitely feels like "an" ending though. So thanks to all of you that have listened to us for the last five years, thanks to those that wrote or called in for this episode, thanks to all the pocket friends on Discord that kept us company, and thanks to all the guests we had along the way to accompany us. Thanks to Autumn and Jess, who put up with their significant other's obsession with Supernatural and made time for us to record each and every week for 270 weeks. We love y'all!

Music box version of American is from here. Wayward Son remix at the beginning of the podcast is by our friend Jake Lionheart.

Episode 269: SPN Rants and Recap

Episode 269: SPN Rants and Recap

Hello hunks! This week we're talking about our thoughts and feelings about Supernatural as a whole, now several weeks removed from finishing the series. We opted to divide our normal feedback episode into two parts, this episode, and one dedicated to all the letters and calls we're getting from you. That will be out next week sometime, so yay! Bonus MOTW!

The intro for this episode is an amazing medley that was conceived by our good friend Jake Lionheart, and executed by him and his friends Megami, Chase Noseworthy, and Ben Northgraves. If you've been listening along with us over the years, you'll no doubt experience some of the same emotions that Chris and I did when hearing this for the first time. Mostly: screaming, crying. Enjoy!

    Episode 268: Non Consensual Pluck

There's a lot to process about this episode of the podcast as well as the last episode of Supernatural. We spend a LOT of time doing that on the podcast, so I won't spend a lot of doing that here. I will say this is the episode we cover S15E20 - Carry On, in which everything ends. Does it work? Who knows, y'all.

Like that intro? The music was done by our friend bansheebeat, who has done all of our fancy intros over the last couple of years. Go check out his music!

The vocals are by Alice Knows Karate, who also did the vocals for our Winchester Pain. She rules. Visit her Bandcamp page and buy all her music.

We also made an entire music video for the song, which you should definitely watch if you wanna cry and laugh about hunks.

Just discovered this great show

Listening to this is of reminds me of how much I enjoyed Supernatural. Back when it originally aired I really loved reading (and contributing to) Television Without Pity’s forums and reading the recaps. Monster of the Week gives me of that sense of community. Discussing a show with friends, making fun of it, while still caring deeply about some fictional characters.

Great rewatch podcast

I’m a new listener, it’s been over a year since the series ended. At the time of this review they have just finished rewatching S2. This podcast is great because it does walk us through each episode (some in more detail than others), and the enthusiasm these guys have for SPN is palpable. I miss the show and this is a good way to get a little fix. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the episodes!
