THE MINISTRY AND THE ARK OF THE COVENANT Part 2
The following cautionary notes from the first series (expanded on a bit) are just as applicable to this series:
CAUTIONARY NOTE: This ongoing series of classes on the ministry is NOT intended to address the general ministry of the body of churches we are part of but, rather, to educate and aid those ministers here and abroad that I personally am responsible for. Doing so may require addressing somewhat controversial issues, but only as such is it necessary to make clear my position on these issues to those I am responsible for. We have made this public (and not password protected) for several reasons, one being that there are ministers outside of our body of churches who may hear these messages and may consider their ways. That has been the case with other materials we have made public; we have had individuals who listened to them who have reached out to us and became a part of what we are doing because of a conviction they felt hearing those messages or reading those materials. I also wanted my position on these issues to be transparent and available to those who love the ministry and its work. And some of the brethren we work with overseas have difficulty accessing password-protected pages.
Let me add an EXTRA CAUTIONARY NOTE to this series as it does address a number of what may be (to some) controversial issues that could be viewed in different ways by brethren among us. It is NOT my intent for this series of classes to cause any offense to those who teach differently among our churches, and I would strongly advise those who may be working under other ministers who hold a different view to consider the potential conflict this may create and if there is any question or the possibility for confusion or offense, please take that into consideration before following these classes, OR please consider listening to their points completely and searching the Scripture to see whether they are true (Acts 17:10-11) as it is my intent (as with anything we teach or present) to be strictly biblical, faithfully contextual, and linguistically precise and accurate in all of our conclusions AND when there is any doubt as to their certainty, to avoid dogmatic and combative statements and, rather, to address the different possible interpretations and approaches as theoretically as possible
