More than Numbers with Kristen Ricuperio

The Courage Coalition

Navigating our financial journeys is rarely a straight path. In a recent podcast conversation with fellow financial coach Kristin Ricupiero, we explored the twists and turns that come with managing finances in both business and life. What stood out most was our shared belief that while financial challenges can feel overwhelming, they also offer opportunities to pivot and grow. We acknowledged that it's okay to feel the frustration when things don’t go as planned—whether it's losing a client or facing unexpected expenses. But what truly matters is how we choose to respond after that initial reaction. It's about asking, “What’s next?” and embracing the potential for new opportunities even in difficult times.

One of the most profound parts of our conversation was diving into the importance of mindset when it comes to money. We often carry beliefs from childhood or past experiences that shape how we handle finances today. Kristin and I both shared personal stories of overcoming financial hurdles and shifting our money mindsets. We emphasized that acknowledging and understanding these beliefs is the first step to change. Financial coaching isn't just about numbers; it's about uncovering and rewriting the stories we tell ourselves about money. Whether it's the fear of not having enough or the guilt tied to spending, our mindset plays a significant role in our financial health.

We also discussed practical steps for anyone looking to improve their financial well-being. From creating time blocks to regularly review finances, to getting curious about where your money is actually going, small actions can lead to big changes. The key is to start somewhere. Financial growth is an ongoing journey that requires intention, reflection, and action. Our hope is that through these conversations, more women entrepreneurs feel empowered to take control of their financial stories and build intentional legacies rooted in purpose and clarity.
