    Embracing the Solitude

    Embracing the Solitude

Isolation might be a negative loaded word for many people but for me it is the key to my creativity.
While being with friends and family brings happines to my life, being a alone is extremely important for my creativity and for maintaining a balance in my life.
In this episode I am sharing my thoughts on this topic and I am going a bit more in depth with some of the topics I am takling about in the BBC interview.

    Inspired by Spring

    Inspired by Spring

Spring is here and it is probably the most hectic time of the year for me.
Nature explodes with new life and colours, and it can be hard not to get a bit stressed about all the things I alway miss to capture.
Spring motivates me and encourage me to get more out with my camera, but I have to prepare my mindset to the longer days, the explosion of wildlife and I have to get my priorities right.
In this episode I am sharing some of my many thoughts with you.

Many thanks for this podcast

I appreciate this photographer’s love of nature, respect for the animals, and thoughtful approach to life. I love, love, love that there are always nature sounds (and scenes on YouTube) when he’s talking. For days when I can’t get out, I appreciate seeing Martin’s beautiful farm.

Being out alone is the best. Time stops and all your troubles fade away. There’s always something wonderful to see in nature.

Great photographer, thoughtful person

Great photographer. But one of the most generous, thoughtful voices in this space. Loved the thoughts on solitude, being present, and more. Reminder of why nature photography (or sketching or birding, I’d add) is so valuable, rewarding in the first place. Love this voice and stance.
