Spiritual Growth Resource: Scripture Devotion on Embracing Differences in your Mom Tribe
In the last episode, Leslie interviewed Langley Korepanova, who in the midst of several pieces of wisdom shared a story in which she was at first off-put and offended by a mom who thought differently than her. After consideration, however, Langley came to see the other woman's difference as a gift and strength in the lives of our children.
If you ever struggle to embrace different viewpoints in your community of people helping you raise your kiddos, this episode will I hope encourage you to consider God's intention in creating so many different people with so many different viewpoints. To quote the classic cliche–it truly takes a village to raise a child. But, will we embrace the village we're given, or will we hoard the raising of our children in fear that a different viewpoint or approach might be more harmful than helpful?
If you missed my conversation with Langley, make sure to check out episode 17 to get the context for this episode.
For a more basic conversation on the need for community in our mothering journey, check out episodes 3 and 4.

Amazing podcast
Leslie does a great job sharing the hard parts of motherhood in a biblical way. There are so many resources out there that leave out the key part: Christ. I appreciate that Leslie ties it all together and encourages moms to keep growing.
Relatable and Relevant
Leslie does such a great job at naming the things in our motherhood that we don’t know how to explain. Her discussions with other Christian moms are so relatable and I find myself nodding my head in agreement through every single episode. I also feel like I’m right there in the room and a welcome part of the conversation. I also love her guided meditations that take you step by step through a great spiritual practice that is rooted in scripture. I have loved the encouragement that this podcast has brought me, and I’m sharing it with so many moms!
Hope for moms of littles!
Leslie’s calm and reassuring voice draws you in. She’s the mom of two littles navigating life in the thick of the daily monotony of motherhood. Here is the friend who makes you laugh and helps you name the experience. For anyone who is looking for community, connection, and companionship in a season that is normally characterized by competition— this is for you!!!
