Real Disney Fans
What I love about this podcast is that each of the three members is a true Disney fan. They aren’t just going through the motions and they are never snarky. They get it. Their enthusiasm shines through in every episode and the information they impart is extremely helpful. Whether you have an annual pass holder or only get to visit every three years, they’ve got you covered.
Very fun and informative!
This is one of my favorite Disney podcasts. I think Kristen has an events-planning business which often has her in the parks, and I think Sam has worked for and with Disney in various capacities for years, so they bring some rare insider knowledge. But, on top of that, Kristen, Josh, and Sam have all been going to the Disney parks for years as fans, and they are knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
It’s my understanding that Josh works as a nurse, which, in my opinion, is admirable by itself. But, on top of that, as far as I know they’re all spending their own money to visit the parks and give us the latest info on what’s open, what new treats are worth buying, and other valuable info. And, as long as I’ve been listening, they haven’t had commercials or even Patreon! They partnered with HoJo for some fun episodes, but otherwise, this podcast has been ad-free.
If I could change anything, I wouldn’t mind if they did raise some money somehow (I would definitely still listen if they had ads) and get them all their own microphones. It often sounds like they share a mic, and are sitting at various distances from it, which means I can barely hear Josh in order for Sam to not be too loud. I also have to skip the Disney Plus discussions, since I don’t watch Disney Plus until long after shows have initially aired. But the empathy, camaraderie, and detailed information these three local Disneyland fans generously share is well worth five stars.
Started Out Good, but Going Downhill due to Inconsitency, Untimely Reporting, and Negativity
I have been a faithful listener of both Mousetalgia
