On top of all that Katie is a nurse who saw the shortcomings of healthcare and through her own issues decided to dive in headfirst into learning everything she could about the body. This was a really fun podcast about how listening to your curiosity and chasing your passions can lead you down a path you never even dreamed of!

Cassie is now an author and speaker trying to raise awareness for sustainable and solo travel with a focus on women through her organization ‘Her International’. Coming from a college dropout to someone who raised enough money to accomplish her dream, is a published author and accomplished speaker. We cover overcoming external challenges, as well as internal struggles that arise while accomplishing her dream while dealing with anxiety, depression and even contemplating quitting the expedition and ending her life.

    Wes even committed to us that he will eliminate fried food and that he will only eat 1 pizza a month leading up to the 2020 Olympic Games….that's only 8 pizzas and that's his favorite food!

I relate to you so much Katie when it comes to healthcare frustrations! When talking about children I get what you guys mentioned at the same time we have to look and consider special needs kiddos and the epidemic there including obesity. Considerate of all situations. Demographic shift. Consumer driven society. Poor researching ability to sift through poor quality info on the web and good quality info is tricky. I love what you guys are doing. Good stuff

Love the podcasts. It is easy to get off track or have negative thoughts take over. The time you put into podcasts are making a difference. Everyone needs encouragement, we may know what is right and what we are doing is right but doing right consistently is hard. There is a big gap between knowledge and application, your continued support through podcast and videos help to create motivation and inspire discipline to move forward when negativity tries to keep in.
