48 episodes

Jonah Weingarten and Mallory Jacobson have been together since 2015. One of the many indicators that these two had found their match was their ability to endlessly quote movies like Wayne’s World and Tommy Boy back and forth. Join this metal musician and millennial marketer as they take turns picking a movie to dissect each episode — either finally forcing each other to watch those movies they’ve been putting off for 5+ years, or re-watching flicks that are close to their hearts. If you’re down for the dichotomy of discussion topics like “how did this movie impact the film industry” and “who would you bone” — you’ve come to the right place.

Awesome!

Really great breakdowns on films! Really liked the 500 days of summer review and now I’m intrigued to check out The Crow! Great chemistry on this show and so funny! Love the cover art how it changes in each episode as well! Awesome podcast!

Cool listen to fill up time

This podcast is a cool listen if you’re like me and need something to occupy your time at work, etc. The hosts are a bit over the top w/ the horny for each other factor, but if you can get past that it’s not too bad. I like to hear others peoples takes on movies, and it doesn’t require my full attention while working, cooking, cleaning. Just an easy listen.

Not good

Lazy content: sometimes they just read an article verbatim, or just read through IMDB facts. There’s no reason for me to care about these people’s thoughts or opinions on movies: they give me no credentials that make them trustworthy or show that they’re experts in anything they’re talking about. There isn’t any interesting research or original ideas. And, we get it, you have sex.
