Taofiki Gafar-Schaner is a mastered prepared registered nurse that has transitioned his career from the bedside to nurse informatics. The “Gadget Geek Nurse” noticed a huge need within the bedside and decided to actually do something about it.
Nurses were working without the proper supplies to protect their seizure-prone patients. A concept became an invention and the rest is history. Multifaceted to say the least, the future is incredibly bright for this nurse inventor and his partner Joey Ferry, BSN, RN.
